The ROTEX GasHeizUnit is a gas condensing unit integrated in a steel cabinet. This steel cabinet also acts as the distribution cabinet required for the underfloor heating system.

The ROTEX GasHeizUnit – The gas condensing boiler in the distribution cabinet

In large buildings the expenditure in heating water distribution is often very great. Long sections of piping for flow and return primary pipework have to be accommodated. This piping installation is normally relatively expensive and the pipes are often in the way. In addition, there is a corresponding building expenditure for the boiler room. It takes up space and attracts additional building costs. Our solution to this problem is: the ROTEX GasHeatingUnit (GHU). The GHU is a gascondensing unit which is incorporated in a steel cabinet. This steel cabinet also constitutes the distributor cabinet required for the floor heating.

Combination of the gas condensing boiler with the heating circuit distributors directly in the distribution cabinet means that a boiler room and the distribution lines normally needed are no longer required. This new type of heating system combines the advantages of a condensing boiler with the outstanding properties of the ROTEX System 70 floor heating. This creates a heating system which saves energy and space, which is extremely flexible, exhibits the maximum failure safety and which produces a perfect room climate. The GasHeatingUnit includes all the required  components for heating:

• Weather controlled digital control system with time programs
• Circulation pump
• Expansion vessel
• Safety group with pressure gauge and pressure relief valve

The nominal rating of the modulating gas boiler is 35 kW, so that one GHU is adequate for the heating of an area up to 800 m².
Your advantage: The heating distribution pipes and boiler room are not required. The individual GasHeatingUnits just need to be supplied with gas and electrical power and they require a drain for the condensate which is produced.

The heating of industrial premises makes considerable demands on the heating system. Large hall heights, sudden ventilation through open large gates and doors, extreme variations inside and outside heat loads, high activity level of employees and the danger of draughts are the difficulties that a modern heating system must overcome. Hot water underfloor heating is an ideal heating system in these circumstances. Underfloor heating is the ideal solution for heating and cooling for almost all large surface areas such as industrial premises, logistics buildings, assembly and machine halls, events pavilions, meeting rooms, shopping centres. There are a great many significant advantages in using this system:

System 70 Industry

In addition to their industrial areas, industrial buildings usually have offices, social and sanitary areas, etc. In order to heat these areas, both underfloor heating and radiators are required. In System 70 Industry, the tried and tested ROTEX System 70 with the DUO-17 Pipe 17/12 x 2 can be used for these areas. Since both systems work at the same feed temperature, only one water distribution system with common feed temperature regulation is sufficient for the entire building. This means that industrial heating surfaces and heating surfaces in the administration area, such as underfloor heating and radiators, can be connected.
