初中階段，關(guān)于 help 用法的考查經(jīng)常出現(xiàn)，主要考查其短語搭配，那關(guān)于 help 的短語到底需要背幾個(gè)呢？

一、help 作動(dòng)詞，意為 “幫助，協(xié)助”

1. help (sb.) with sth. 在某方面幫助（某人）

Can you help with the housework?

你能幫忙做家務(wù)嗎？

Tom often helps his sister with English.

湯姆經(jīng)常在英語方面幫助妹妹。

2. help sb. （to）do sth. 幫助某人做某事

to可以省略，sb.也可以省略

We help to clean the classroom.

我們幫忙打掃教室。

I helped mom wash clothes.

我們幫助媽媽洗衣服！

3. help （sb.）out 幫助某人擺脫困難

強(qiáng)調(diào)幫助擺脫困境，解決問題；

Thank you so much for helping me out.

謝謝你幫我擺脫困難；

4. help oneself 請(qǐng)自便/隨便

If you want something to drink, help youself.

如果你想要喝點(diǎn)什么，請(qǐng)自便 。

help oneself to sth. 為某人/自己取用...；隨便來點(diǎn)...

Come and help yourself to some apples.

快來隨便吃點(diǎn)蘋果。

5. can't help doing sth. 情不自禁做...

When he heard the news, he couldn't help crying.

當(dāng)他聽到這個(gè)消息時(shí)，他情不自禁的哭了。

can't help to do sth. 不能幫助做某事

屬于help的正常用法；

I can't help to do the homework for you.

我不能幫助你做作業(yè)。

二、help 可用作名詞，常見的短語有：

1. with the help of ... 在...的幫助下 （名字短語）

= with one's help

I finally passed the exam with the help of my friend.

在我朋友的幫助下，我終于通過了考試。

2. ask/call （sb.）for help 尋求幫助

If you are in trouble, call the police for help.

有困難找警察幫助。

helpful 形容詞，有用的，愿意幫忙的

helpless 形容詞，無助的
